When Hyderabad is being barbecued by ever fat sun, it's criminal when you post your swanky hill-station pics! Although I am happy for you, coz you are still my friend and so in my friend-list, but remember, this is where you come back and vacations are there to end anyway. 😎
India is the 5th most vacation deprived country in the world and who would agree to it more than me! :( and Some how all my friends are on exotic vacations posting pics without filter while I am still here managing the month end with curd rice only diet. But hey traveler! My tummy is happier than yours here.
Earlier Indians had their foreign location darshan only courtesy Yashraj films. Now we have 10 travel channels, that too in HD, so technically I have seen more of the world with as simple as DTH connection. 😬 And well what can be the most comforting place in the world other than the own house, eh! Weren't you the happiest when schools shut for summer vacation and you were finally -fully at home. Snoring till lunch -time, binge watching cartoon network and zee cinema, unchained to play in parks, no restricted Tv time and unlimited comics reading, all the board games out of the closet. (now it feels that I behaved just out of the jail then ) (no internet was the best time of my life - 🤔)
Coming back to "real" first world troubles of adulthood. It is obvious and comparison IS THE DiSEASE. Then why don't we just stop comparing. In fact. let's use the slightly similar technique... While your rich friends (better at saving🙂 ) friends are there to show you supposedly enviable pics, we choose here poorer friends (basically with shittier salary then ours😈) and then we party with them. coz party is still party, whether in America or India. Thoda sa aur paani peene ke baad to sab same lagta hai.🎃 And lastly, I would like to say that videsh nahi gaye to kya hua? Don't turn your life into vacation-less memoir. Every one goes on a vacation, Europe- America nahi jaa sakte to kya hua... go to Tirupati, Goa, Khandala ya Shirdi hi chale jaao! Desi bhi to swag hota hai bhai! Just Sayin...
